OUTLOOK EXPRESS - Hints and Tips

Microsoft regularly produces Fixes, Patches & Upgrades to its range of programs. Occasionally these can cause a program to revert to its default settings, which may stop clients receiving email attachments. Should this occur, try checking the following settings:
UNABLE TO VIEW / OPEN EMAIL ATTACHMENTS

> launch Outlook Express program

> in the MENU BAR, click TOOLS > OPTIONS

> in the Options windows TAB BAR, click SECURITY tab

> amend the options as shown at left

> click APPLY button

> click OK

> close then re-launch Outlook Express

You should now be able to open any previously 'invisible' attachments.

When travelling, leave those large email messages on your Internet Service Provider's Mail Server for viewing when you are next on broadband.

You can check your Mail Server's Inbox via your ISP's webmail if a large email is expected. Then download just the larger attachment required. It takes just a few minutes to change your e-mail settings >>
